The 4 steps in detail:

1. Choose your handmade recipe with care and passion.

Arrange Toi offers you 5 unique recipes, do not hesitate to look at the list of ingredients to let you imagine their flavors. Organic, natural, local, good, happiness.

2. Pour in your favorite white rum. 750ml.

We recommend that you use a white rum without a pronounced flavor for flavoring (40 degrees of alcohol minimum). However, you can also choose aged or amber rum, or even other spirits such as gin, vodka or tequila, depending on your preference. However, it is noted that the recipes are basically made for a pour of white rum. Our bottles are designed to fit a 750 ml bottle. Simply fill the bottle without it overflowing.

3. Wait one month for aromatization. Protected from light. Stir 1x/week.

We recommend that you infuse our products for at least one month. There is no maximum duration, but the longer you wait, the more intense the aromas will be. Keep your bottle at room temperature and away from light. There may be the visual presence of a deposit in the bottom of the bottle. it's completely normal, it's the sugar. We recommend that you stir your products at least once a week during the infusion.

4. Taste. Stir and filter first.

It is not obligatory but preferable to filter your arranged rum after the period of one month requested for aromatization. This avoids a greasy texture in the mouth and will promote a more pleasant experience. Filtration also has the effect of stopping the infusion.

Here are some ways to taste rum arranged according to your desires and preferences:

  1. Only

Arranged rum can be savored as it is, at room temperature or over ice. Depending on the ingredients used for the infusion, it can have a mild or spicy flavor, and a smooth or grainy texture. Some prefer to drink it neat to appreciate its flavor and texture.

  1. With a soda

Arranged rum can also be mixed with a soda to obtain a refreshing drink. The soda can be lemonade, tonic water, ginger ale or cola, depending on your taste. You can also add a slice of lemon, lime or ginger to add a touch of freshness and spice.

  1. In cocktails

Arranged rum can be used as an ingredient in a cocktail to add flavor and depth to the drink. You can use it to prepare a Ti' Punch (with lime and cane sugar), a Coco Punch (with coconut milk and pineapple juice), or a Planteur (with orange juice and pineapple). The possibilities are endless, and you can experiment with different recipes to find your favorite cocktail.

  1. With water

For a lighter version, you can dilute the arranged rum with water. This will reduce the intensity of the drink and make it easier to drink. You can also add mint or lime to enhance the flavor.

The person behind the project

"My name is Florian and I am behind this project, driven by my passion for discovery and homemade.

I discovered arranged rum while vacationing on Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean more than 10 years ago. This alcoholic and fruity blend intrigued me so much that I started making my own versions at home as soon as I got back from vacation. Over the years, I have shared my creations with my family, my friends and my loved ones, whether in France, my country of birth, or here, in Quebec, my province of adoption for 9 years.

This is how I realized that there was little supply and that arrangé rum was very little known in Quebec.

After 12 years in the health field, I wanted to do something close to my heart, to pursue a new
passion and take on a new challenge. The idea of ​​a project to discover arranged rum in Quebec, with local flavors in a circuit concept
short, then came to me.

I am passionate about good things, local, artisanal products, products made with love and passion.

This is why I have chosen to offer quality artisanal products, made from carefully selected ingredients, to offer a unique traditional drink.

I am proud to share my passion with you and to offer you unique products that you will be able to make yourself.

Our concrete steps to minimize our impact

We believe that quality and sustainability go hand in hand, and we have implemented several measures to minimize our environmental impact.

We know that respect for the environment is crucial, and we want to be a company that actively participates in preserving the planet. This is why we have chosen to work with a network of local and local suppliers , as much as possible, in order to reduce our carbon footprint (by walking there, for example) and also support local producers. We also know that it has a positive impact on the local economy , and that makes us proud.

In addition, we have designed eco-responsible packaging for our product, using a reusable and recyclable glass bottle, as well as labels made from recycled paper. We are aware that every small gesture counts, and we are happy to know that our choice to do simple but effective things contributes to the preservation of the environment.

We also work with local distributors for our products, to limit our impact on the planet. We think this is important because we want to be part of a community that cares about the environment as much as we do.

The logical approach to the environment involves considering the environmental consequences of every action we take. One of the key areas where we can apply this approach is in how we buy and store products.

An effective way to reduce our environmental impact is to favor the use of reusable and recyclable containers when we buy from distributors. This may include the use of reusable bags, glass bottles and containers, reusable food wraps, among others.

In addition, for the storage of products, it is possible to use reusable containers such as mason jars or brown paper bags. These options are not only environmentally friendly, but they are also more durable than single-use options.

By choosing reusable storage options , we can help reduce waste and conserve natural resources. Ultimately, the logical approach to the environment is to consider the environmental impacts of every action we take, including how we buy and store products.

Finally, we found an innovative use for the wood chips recovered in a collaborative carpentry workshop. We are proud to contribute to a circular economy and the recovery of natural waste by using these shavings to protect our bottles during shipments, rather than using additional packaging materials.
