Cookie Policy

This document aims to explain the types of cookies and other tracking technologies that Shopify may place on your device when you visit our online store.

What are cookies ?

A cookie is a small amount of information that is downloaded to your computer or device when you visit certain websites. We use a number of different cookies on the Shopify website: strictly necessary cookies, performance cookies, advertising cookies, social media cookies, content cookies, etc. Cookies improve your browsing experience by allowing the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as user name and region selection). This means you don't have to re-enter this information each time you return to the site or navigate from one page to another. Cookies also provide information about how visitors use the website, for example if it is their first visit or if they are frequent visitors. To learn more about cookies (and other similar tracking technologies) and our use of data collected through these technologies, see our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are used and why?

Some cookies are necessary to enable you to navigate our website, to use its features and to access its secure areas. The use of these cookies is essential for the operation of the website. For example, we use session-time user input cookies to track a user's input as they complete forms across multiple pages.

We also use functional cookies to remember choices you have made or information you have provided, such as your user name, language or the region you are in. This allows us to personalize your experience on our website according to your preferences. For example, authentication cookies are functional cookies used during a session (or persistent, if you agree to use the "Remember me" function) to allow users to identify themselves during their visits. or to access authorized content on multiple pages. Here are some of the functional cookies we use:

  • User-centric security cookies are used to detect authentication abuse for a limited continuous duration, such as failed login attempts. These cookies are specifically set to improve the security of the service.

  • Multimedia content playback cookies (flash cookies) are used during a session to record the technical data necessary for playing video or audio content (for example: image quality, network connection speed , and buffer settings).

  • Load balancing cookies are used for a session to identify the same server in the pool to allow the load balancer to redirect user requests appropriately.

  • Persistent user interface customization cookies are used to store a user's preference for a service across multiple web pages.

User experience is fundamental to Shopify and we use many tools to improve our website and commerce platform. To this end, we use reporting and data analysis cookies to collect information about how you use our website or our merchants' online stores, as well as your frequency of use. These cookies only collect information for statistical purposes and only use pseudonyms as cookie identifiers, which do not identify you personally. Here are some of the performance cookies we use:

  • Proprietary data analysis cookies: We use these cookies to estimate the number of unique visitors, to improve our websites and those of our merchants, and to detect the most searched words in search engines leading to a web page. These cookies are not used to target you with online marketing. We use these cookies to learn about the performance of our websites and those of our merchants, as well as to make relevant improvements to your browsing experience.

  • Third-party analytics cookies – We also use Google Analytics and other third-party analytics providers to help us assess how users interact with content on our website. These cookies "remember" our users' actions on previous pages and how they interact with the website.

Advertising cookies are used on our website to personalize marketing content to you and your interests, and then to provide you with a more personalized service. These cookies remember your visit to our website and we may share this information with third parties, such as advertisers. Although these cookies can track visits made from your device to our website and other sites, they generally cannot identify you personally. Without these cookies, the advertisements you see would be less relevant and less interesting to you. To learn more about the use of cookies by companies to carry out targeted or retargeted advertising campaigns. We do not personally set advertising cookies through our merchants' online stores, but merchants are free to make this choice themselves.

Finally, social media and content cookies are set by many social media plug-ins (e.g. the Facebook "Like" button), as well as other tools to provide or enrich the content of a website (for example, services allowing the playback of video files or the creation of comment sections). We integrate these modules into our platform to improve the browsing experience and interactions with our websites. Please note that some of these third-party services place cookies which are also used for functions such as behavioral advertising, data analytics and/or market research.

How long will cookies stay on my computer or mobile device?

The length of time a cookie stays on your computer or mobile device depends on whether it is a "persistent" cookie or a "session" cookie. Session cookies remain in place until you stop browsing, while persistent cookies last until they expire or are deleted. Most of the cookies we use are persistent and expire between 30 minutes and two years from the date they are downloaded to your device. See the section on controlling cookies below to find out how to delete them before they expire.

How to control cookies?

You can control and manage cookies in various ways. Keep in mind that deleting or blocking cookies may have negative effects on your user experience and may prevent you from fully accessing certain parts of our website.

Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can choose whether or not to accept them through your browser's controls, which are often found in your browser's "Tools" or "Preferences" menu. To learn more about changing your browser settings or how to block, manage or filter cookies, see your browser's help file or sites such as: www.allaboutcookies.org .

Most third-party advertising and other tracking services listed above provide you with the ability to opt-out of their tracking systems. To learn more about what information they collect and how to exercise this option, see the privacy policy links listed above.

The person behind the project

"My name is Florian and I am behind this project, driven by my passion for discovery and homemade.

I discovered arranged rum while vacationing on Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean more than 10 years ago. This alcoholic and fruity blend intrigued me so much that I started making my own versions at home as soon as I got back from vacation. Over the years, I have shared my creations with my family, my friends and my loved ones, whether in France, my country of birth, or here, in Quebec, my province of adoption for 9 years.

This is how I realized that there was little supply and that arrangé rum was very little known in Quebec.

After 12 years in the health field, I wanted to do something close to my heart, to pursue a new
passion and take on a new challenge. The idea of a project to discover arranged rum in Quebec, with local flavors in a circuit concept
short, then came to me.

I am passionate about good things, local, artisanal products, products made with love and passion.

This is why I have chosen to offer quality artisanal products, made from carefully selected ingredients, to offer a unique traditional drink.

I am proud to share my passion with you and to offer you unique products that you will be able to make yourself.

I hope you discover new flavors, arouse your curiosity for this unique drink and that you have a good time.

Thank you for trusting me and allowing me to participate in helping you discover arranged rum.

I also thank Poisson.''

Our concrete steps to minimize our impact

We believe that quality and sustainability go hand in hand, and we have implemented several measures to minimize our environmental impact.

We know that respect for the environment is crucial, and we want to be a company that actively participates in preserving the planet. This is why we have chosen to work with a network of local and local suppliers , as much as possible, in order to reduce our carbon footprint (by walking there, for example) and also support local producers. We also know that it has a positive impact on the local economy , and that makes us proud.

In addition, we have designed eco-responsible packaging for our product, using a reusable and recyclable glass bottle, as well as labels made from recycled paper. We are aware that every small gesture counts, and we are happy to know that our choice to do simple but effective things contributes to the preservation of the environment.

We also work with local distributors for our products, to limit our impact on the planet. We think this is important because we want to be part of a community that cares about the environment as much as we do.

The logical approach to the environment involves considering the environmental consequences of every action we take. One of the key areas where we can apply this approach is in how we buy and store products.

An effective way to reduce our environmental impact is to favor the use of reusable and recyclable containers when we buy from distributors. This may include the use of reusable bags, glass bottles and containers, reusable food wraps, among others.

In addition, for the storage of products, it is possible to use reusable containers such as mason jars or brown paper bags. These options are not only environmentally friendly, but they are also more durable than single-use options.

By choosing reusable storage options , we can help reduce waste and conserve natural resources. Ultimately, the logical approach to the environment is to consider the environmental impacts of every action we take, including how we buy and store products.

Finally, we found an innovative use for the wood chips recovered in a collaborative carpentry workshop. We are proud to contribute to a circular economy and the recovery of natural waste by using these shavings to protect our bottles during shipments, rather than using additional packaging materials.

At Arrange Toi, we believe that quality and respect for the environment go hand in hand. Our goal to achieve is to think in an optimal way so that each action of Arrange You in order to minimize our impact on the planet.

We are happy to contribute to a more sustainable economy and to offer quality products to our customers.

Let's protect our environment locally for a global impact.
